In an effort to direct traffic to cart paths, the Greens Committee has re-instated the NO-CART sign posts. The posts are green and will be located about 40 yards from the front of the green. We really appreciate your help and co-operation!

Cedar Rock Country Club opened it’s doors in 1965. A group of local businessmen envisioned the Club, Golf Course, and the Village of Cedar Rock with a focus on Hibriten Mountain as a centerpiece. The group then commissioned Ellis Maples to design the 7,153 yard Championship masterpiece with it’s lush carpeted Bermuda tees and fairways and beautifully manicured Bent grass greens. The result is the “SHOWCASE OF THE FOOTHILLS”!

Cedar Rock’s facilities also include Men’s and Ladies locker rooms, golf club storage and golf cart storage. All are available for Member convenience.

Hole 3, rated the toughest hole on the course, is an uphill 570 yard test where a par on your card will often help you gain a stroke on the field. Hug the right side on your drive as well struck balls can find their way into the creek bordering the left side of the fairway. The approach to the 2 tiered green is critical as the wrong position can certainly bring a 3 putt into play.

Hole 12, rated the 2nd toughest hole at Cedar Rock, features an approach that is normally between 140 to 180 yards over water. If you miss your drive, there is always the option to go around the left of the lake and play for a bogey. This is usually a critical hole in determining a good or bad scoring round

Cedar Rock offers a full range of practice options to improve your game. We have one of the largest putting greens in the Carolinas along with a chipping green and a 300 yard driving range. Unlimited range balls are included in memberships that include golf privileges.
